There are restrooms, but do bring your own drinking water.

There are a variety of good views to paint in all directions - toward Tom's Thumb and Pinnacle Peak, Granite Mountain, and 4 Peaks - that offer far off vistas. There are a bunch of Saguaros too.

If Fraesfield parking lots aren't your thing it's a short hike up to Granite Mountain, which is lovely.
