Meet at the Black Canyon City Trailhead at 8:30. Stay until after lunch. There is a restroom at the trailhead. Bring water (and lunch if you want).

There is a nice hillside of saguaros near the trailhead or about a 20 minute walk (on an easy, fairly level trail) will bring you to an overlook above pretty bends of the Agua Fria River. I’ll be making the walk in. The trail is popular for hikers, mountain bikes and horse rides.
