Arizona Plein Air Painters members and non-members are invited to participate in the 2023 Downtown Glendale Arts and Culture Fest at Murphy Park in Glendale.
There are three components to this event:
Paint out at Murphy Park
Pop-up art sale at booth/tent
Youth activities table - gouache on paper
All artists should check in at the Culture Fest INFO booth for an artist lanyard first, before setting out to paint and/or volunteer. For those who volunteer but also want to paint, we will work together so everyone gets a chance to paint while we host the booth/tent art sale and youth activities table.
Paint Out at Murphy Park:
Open to members and non-members.
Show up for as little or as long as you want during the event
Pop-Up Art Sale:
Members can bring their artwork to hang and sell to the public.
For sales, members are expected to be able to take their own sales or make agreements with other members to share card swipe devices.
All sales (minus card swipe fees) go to the artists. No commission is expected by APAP or the festival organizers.
Festival organizers will provide a tent.
Megan will bring a small set of panels.
Youth Activities Table:
The activity is painting with gouache on paper.
Rita Goldner will be leading the volunteers at the youth activities table.
