Saturday at Dobbins Lookout
We are focused on painting the Phoenix urban cityscape, why not paint the view from above!? Dobbins Lookout, at 2,330 feet, is the highest point available to the public at South Mountain. The lookout is popular for its unobstructed panoramic view of the Valley.
Take Central up into South Mountain Park & Preserve, turn left onto Summit Road. Continue on the winding road all the way to the top. Public restrooms are available. NOTE: Due to the many blind corners, narrow sections and treacherous drop-offs, extreme caution should be maintained and adherence to the speed limit followed.
This paint out is one in a series focused on the downtown Phoenix Cityscape leading up to a juried show we are planning at the Mood Room for August. Members and non-members are welcome to paint with us at this event. Registration for Cityscape vs. Landscape opens in May 2023.
