Early to mid-October is when the aspens change color. Aspen Corner is one of the most photographed spots in Arizona.
Small parking lot on the side of N Snow Bowl Road. There are plenty of aspens to paint directly from your car, but it's worth it to walk a short distance out onto the trail.
If the parking lot is too full to park, continue driving up the mountain to Humphrey's Peak Trail. There are great spots to paint directly from the parking area. Or you can head West, on foot, on the Aspen Nature Loop trail towards the same grove of aspens.

No toilets
Always bring extra water and shade. Take usual precautions.
