*This is one in a series of NO-HOST paint outs scheduled by APAP.
The Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area is beautiful wetland and riparian habitat, right in the middle of Phoenix. There are several trailheads, park at the NE 7th Ave. trailhead.
You will want to walk the short distance from the parking lot to the Salt River. Trails are roller friendly if you bring a cart to haul supplies.
To protect the delicate ecosystem, please remain on designated trails.
