Dobbins Lookout, at 2,330 feet, is the highest point available to the public at South Mountain. The lookout is popular for it's unobstructed panoramic view of the Valley.
Take Central up into South Mountain Park & Preserve, turn left onto Summit Road. Per some reviews, the restroom is not very private.

Typically, 3-15 painters show up to our paint outs. However, no APAP member is designated to attend this paint out as a host. This location has been previously visited and painted by APAP members.
When painting in Arizona —> always bring extra water and shade. Hats & umbrellas recommended!
