Sabino Canyon, located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains, is a premier natural area in southern Arizona. Known for its year-round flowing creek fed by winter snowmelt and summer monsoons, the canyon offers stunning desert landscapes, riparian corridors, and diverse wildlife, including Gila Monsters and Bobcats. Visitors can explore over 30 miles of trails, enjoy walking, hiking, photography, or ride the emission-free Sabino Canyon Crawler or Bear Canyon shuttle. The Visitor Center provides maps, gifts, and helpful information. Note: Pets are not allowed, but service animals are permitted.no Canyon. Service Animals as defined by The Americans with Disabilities Act are authorized.
